Enchanted Waves Book Cover

For this project, I created a fantasy-themed book cover titled Enchanted Waves. The goal was to take a self-portrait and combine it with additional imagery to produce a cohesive, visually engaging cover using Adobe Photoshop.

I began by removing the backgrounds from both my self-portrait and a dragon image using layer masks. These elements were then composited on the same artboard, with a sky image placed beneath to establish depth and atmosphere. To unify the layers, I applied a combination of adjustment layers, including hue/saturation, brightness/contrast, levels, and color balance, ensuring all elements blended seamlessly into a cohesive composition.

This project allowed me to explore layer compositing, masking, and advanced adjustment techniques while creating a visually compelling design for a fantasy narrative.
